Controversy :
In 2017, for releasing the short film Hum Kuch Keh Naa Sakey on Late TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, the film was based on her real-life story due to which Pratyusha boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh raised the issue on releasing the film. The film had a character Rahul and film was released on the first death anniversary of Pratyusha. After the matter, Kamya Punjabi received the legal notice from Mumbai Court for releasing the film.
