National Security Day 2021: 4 March
This year in 2021 we will celebrate the 50th National Security Day at the national level. During this time many programs will be organized by the government and non-governmental organizations present in the country. The national security day or week will start from March 4 to March 10.
National Security Day is observed every year on 4 March in India. Its purpose is to make public aware of incidents and accidents. On this day, which runs for a whole week, people are made aware of ways to avoid industrial accidents through various awareness programs.
The only purpose of each activity carried out throughout the week is to make people aware of their safety and introduce them to different methods of protection.
Apart from this, this day is dedicated to those security personnel who are engaged day and night in the security of the country.
Due to them, the boundaries of our country are safe and we are living peacefully safe lives in our own homes. On this day, all of us, the countrymen, heartily greet all these security forces. This day is dedicated to all those sacrifices, who gave their blood and also protected the country.
This time, this weekly program will also focus on safety, health, women safety, awareness of law, environment and cleanliness.
When did this day begin: The National Safety Council was established in India on 4 March in 1966 under the Mumbai Societies Act. Subsequently, in 1972, it was decided to celebrate National Safety Day by this organization and soon thereafter it was celebrated as National Safety Week instead of National Safety Day.
This organization is a non-governmental and non-profit organization employing more than 8 thousand members.
