Gauri Khan is an Indian film producer and designer who has designed spaces for high-profile individuals such as Mukesh Ambani, Roberto Cavalli and Ralph Lauren . As well as Bollywood celebrities such as Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Sidharth Malhotra. She is the co-founder and co-chairperson of the film production company Red Chillies Entertainment and its subsidiaries. Gauri is married to Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan.

She was born into a wealthy family in New Delhi. After college, she did a six-months course in fashion designing from the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Since her childhood, Gauri was fascinated with arts. Gauri met her love, Shah Rukh Khan, when she was 14 years old while Shah Rukh was 19 years old.
After her marriage, Shah Rukh and Gauri shifted to a small apartment in Mumbai, but she wasn’t happy with the apartment as she was from a wealthy family and had never lived in such a small apartment. Gauri is the co-owner of Red Chillies Entertainment.
Apart from being an interior designer and film producer, Gauri is also considered a fashion icon in India and has featured on the covers of various magazines including “Femina,” “Surfaces,” “Hello India,” “Vogue,” and “Savvy,” and more.
As a Model and TV Personality :
Gauri Khan first ventured into television in the 1990s when she hosted MTV’s ‘Oye’, a weekly Bollywood music countdown show. Years later, in 2008, she appeared in a TV commercial for the home furnishings company ‘D’décor’. The same year she got featured as the ‘First Lady of Bollywood’ on the cover of the high-end magazine ‘Vogue’. In 2009, Khan walked the ramp with producer/director Karan Johar at HDIL India Couture Week. Note that she is also the face of ‘Aftershock’, a fashion line.
